The Key purpose of this role is to implement Sales activity so as to achieve and exceed agreed sales and profit objectives and maximise the financial returns whilst safeguarding An Posts competitive position and reputation in the market place.Principal Accountabilities: Meet or exceed annual sales targets within a sales territory. Maintain powerful business relationships with key decision makers within the sales territory. Maintain awareness of competitor activity and development in the market place recommending action and intervention where appropriate. Create and maintain accurate records and reports on customers, market information and products/services. Through and in-depth knowledge of our customer base, develop area plans that maximise An Post s revenue and margin within the sales territory.
Skills Requirements
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years trade and/or company experience and knowledge and relevant field experience. They will have a track record of achieving sales and market share objectives within a sales territory, be organised, self motivated and capable of working on his/her own initiative. They will possess commercial accumen, business awareness, excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels. They will be familiar with marketing and selling techniques.
