Description
Working in a standalone role to support the Senior Management Team and Company Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a number of accounts administration activities, including but not limited to Posting Journals; Process Supplier & Client invoices and dealing with all queries which arise; Maintain Client & Supplier Accounts including monthly reconciliations; – Working with the Sales Team to create and issue Customer Sales Quotes; Credit Control activities including; Opening new accounts and Cash collection; Month End Reporting; Management of slow moving debt / bad debt & bad debt provisioning; Debtor conflict resolution; Process VAT and PAYE Payroll. Candidates should have an interest in working for an established and successful business that is undergoing restructuring and a period of transition and growth. This opportunity would suit an individual that has past experience of a start-up type environment.
Skills Requirements
Applicants must be computer literate including a good working knowledge of Sybiz of alternative accounts package & MS Office applications; Previous similar experience ideally from the catering/manufacturing industries or alternative service delivery environment; Possess a “Can-do” attitude with a willingness to continuously learn and develop; Experience of dealing with multiple clients and suppliers simultaneously would be very beneficial; Accounts or payroll qualification desirable
