Description
We are seeking a professional & motivated Accounts Assistant to join our team based on South Mall, Cork City. The successful candidate will have a flexible, enthusiastic approach & will thrive working in a busy, team orientated, environment. Duties: Preparation of weekly bank reconciliations; Monitoring of accounts; Dealing with Accounts Payable & Receivable duties; Compliance with PSRA (Property Services Regulatory Authority) accountancy requirements. Prior experience not essential; Bank lodgements; Generating landlord account statements; Dealing with phone/email queries; Preparation of VAT Returns; Preparation of Management Accounts; General administration duties across the accounts department; Supporting the business, including reception cover, leave cover etc. This description is not intended to be all-inclusive or a limitation of the duties of the position. Skills Requirements
Minimum 2 years general accounts experience. Professional qualification in a related discipline. Excellent organisational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. Excellent numeracy skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of team. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Must have a can do attitude. Strong task focus with a flexible and adaptable approach.
