Sherlock Recruitment are currently looking to supply an Accounts Payable Person for one of our Contractors based in the Dublin area. Initially the role is on a temporary basis with a view to permanency. Monday to Friday 9-5. Applicants must have good experience in this field. The sole duties will include: Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. Process incoming purchases and managing sub-contractor invoices. Dealing with suppliers on the telephone. Charge expenses to accounts by analyzing invoice/expense reports and recording entries. Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling and preparing checks, resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation. Pay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances. Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
