Job Title: Care Support Workers -Relief Panel

Location: St Patrick’s Cheshire, Tullow, Co Carlow
The Role:
To provide care and support to Cheshire Ireland service users, in a safe, respectful, empathic and person-centred manner, and to facilitate people to live a life of their own choosing.
It is critical that when undertaking your work with people who use Cheshire services you do so in a manner that is consistent with Cheshire Ireland’s ethos and values.
The Person:
A minimum of 1 years’ previous experience in similarly focused role.
In possession of or working towards a FETAC Level 5 or equivalent care related qualification.
Experience or an interest in food preparation and cooking.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Computer literate.
In possession of the necessary documentation to work and live in the Republic of Ireland.
A full clean driving licence (there may be a need to drive a service user). Also may need to use your own vehicle for travelling to support service users in the community and must be able to get Cheshire Ireland indemnified on your insurance.
Ability to speak and write English fluently.
Salary range: Dependent on Experience
