Exchange House Ireland is the largest provider of Traveller community specific front-line services in Ireland and we pride ourselves with working with some of the most marginalised members of Traveller community. The role requires a committed professional with a proven track record of success in a leadership role and a keen interest and understanding of the work of Exchange House Ireland. The CEO will have a high degree of integrity and excellent people management skills in order to lead, manage, and further develop the team committed to achieving the aims of Exchange House Ireland. Areas of focus are the Strategic Plan; managing staff; managing resources; financial accountability; optimum funding; promoting the mission and vision; internal and external relations; representation; child protection; health & safety; standards of best practice; user involvement; information; research and development; supporting the board of directors; accountability; and company secretary duties.
Skills Requirements
Excellent leadership, organisational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, fundraising and strategic planning skills. Significant senior management experience is necessary coupled with the ability to lead, mentor and inspire a highly qualified staff and to implement good governance practices. The successful candidate will have strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with the demonstrated ability to work effectively with board, staff, donors and partners.
