The Role:
In this exciting role you will be supporting individualsin their own home.
Each individual has unique interests and roles which they wish to further develop and explore within their new communities; they will require a dedicated staff team to support them in many aspects of their daily lives in order to achieve this. These aspects will include supporting the focus individual with familiarising themselves with the local community, household chores, meal planning, meal preparation, medication management and personal care in line with their needs.
Please note these positions will involve working across more than one service in the community
The Person:
Successful candidates will be people who share our beliefs that people with a disability are entitled to live full and inclusive lives in the community. You will be flexible, reliable, and prepared to work nights, evenings, weekends and public holidays.The ideal candidate will be patient, social, pro-active, and have the ability to operate independently with good use of initiative.
We are seeking experienced candidates who can support and encourage individuals as required in the above role profile. Ideally you will have a full clean driving license. Knowledge and interests the local area are ideal but not essential.
Salary range: Dependent on experience
