The Position:
Dundrum Credit Union is a successful financial co-operative with five branch offices and over €100m in assets. We’ve created the new role of Development Officer to help us achieve further growth in business levels through marketing and communications and to make sure we keep up our high standards of member service through operational quality. The Development Officer will look after marketing R&D; budgeting, planning and implementation; new product development; promotions and member information and education. S/he will also play an important role in ensuring that members dealing with any of our existing (or new) offices can be confident that the service range and delivery in each one will be interchangeable from a quality perspective. The role will be an important support to the management team.

You will be knowledgeable and confident, ready to break new ground in a challenging role that has a dual focus on growth and service quality; you will be polished, professional and focused, ready to use your initiative, creativity and good judgement to come up with the product, channel and service innovations that will encourage and facilitate our members to use their credit union to best advantage; you will either have a third-level qualification in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field, or a work experience profile that helped you develop the same level of knowledge; you’ll have at least three years’ experience and a proven track record of achievement in a comparable role, preferably in a financial institution. Having credit union experience will be a distinct advantage, but it’s not essential.
