Description

We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper/accounting technician to work on multiple companies in our group. Key duties will involve: Preparation of accounts to Trial Balance stage. Bank Reconciliations. Payroll Reconciliations. Intercompany Reconciliations. Preparation and submission of VAT returns. Invoicing. Ad hoc duties. Working as a team player to support colleagues in collective achievement of company goals. Other accounting support to assist our Client Payroll and Client Accounts Teams as required. Min 3+ years experience in busy accounting environment. Excellent technical bookkeeping knowledge & understanding of accounting processes. Experience with cloud accounting software an advantage. Great attention to detail. Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel. Excellent standards of written & verbal English. Team player; works in a supportive, positive & friendly manner with colleagues at all times.

Skills Requirements

Min 3 years experience in similar role; Excellent technical bookkeeping knowledge; Experience in posting double entry journals & bringing accounts to Trial Balance Understanding of Irish tax system including experience preparing Irish VAT returns; Great attention to detail; Excellent standards of written & verbal English; Team player, works in supportive & friendly manner with colleagues at all times; Great interpersonal skills, enjoys dealing with people.
