Carmichael Centre for Voluntary Groups is first, largest and busiest shared facility in Ireland for charitable organisations and is currently home to 48 Resident Members. Carmichael Centre currently invite applications for the following position:

Finance Manager (part-time)
The Finance Manager will be a key member of the Management Team, reporting to the CEO. The successful candidate will be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting and financial information relied on in the decision making process by the CEO, Management and Board, ensuring it is produced in accordance with best practice. The ongoing development, promotion and delivery of Finance Support Services (e.g. Book-keeping, Management Accounts, Payroll, Audit preparation services) to Resident Members and to existing and target clients in the not-for profit sector, is another critical element of this Job.

The successful applicant will have the following essential requirements;

Must be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CPA) and have a minimum of 3 years in an accounting leadership role, ideally to include leadership experience within an accounting function of a not-for-profit organisation.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft products, and financial packages such SAGE, Exchequer and TAS Books.
Ability to exercise leadership and work in teams to achieve the set goals and provide excellent client service.
