Fundraisers – Irish Hospice Foundation – Dublin 2

We are looking for energetic, passionate and dedicated people to join our fundraising team and provide crucial funding for our many important programmes. This role is a great opportunity for anyone who wishes to make a huge difference in the lives of others, while earning a living for themselves.

The successful candidate will work with an Individual Giving Team and receive training, support and information relating to the vision, mission and values of the Irish Hospice Foundation.

The ideal candidate will:

have proven success in fundraising or sales (highly desirable not essential)
be competent in the use of information technology.
have a full clean driver’s licence.
have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
have a great attitude
have the ability to meet deadlines and targets.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Recruitment: To recruit a target number of regular donors by direct debit between members of the public and The IHF through door to door fundraising in the fundraiser’s allocated areas around Ireland.
Communication: Talking to the public about The IHF’s work in a passionate, clear and truthful manner.  Explaining our programmes of work to encourage support.
Professional Conduct: Behaving in a professional and courteous manner at all times.  As you are representing our charity you must never knowingly bringing IHF or any other charity into disrepute and must portray The IHF’s work in a positive and enthusiastic manner at all times.
