Key responsibilities include:
Database administration – updating the database to record donor contact and preference information
Provide excellent customer service to new and existing supporters and promptly deal with all enquiries
Ensure that all donor correspondence is up to date
Apply the highest professional standards of donor care to build loyal relationships with supporters
Support the fundraising team in all aspects of supporter care
Administration for Gifts In Action online and offline
Support community fundraisers and promote community fundraising opportunities
Conduct in-house welcome calls in support of the direct dialogue fundraising campaign
Support the implementation of in-house direct mail campaigns and prepare corporate proposals
Any other support as directed by the Head of Fundraising & Communications
The successful candidate will have:
Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to relate to people at all levels
Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritise and multi-task
Administration skills and experience
Passion and commitment to the aims and values of the organisation
Sales, customer services or marketing experience would be an advantage
