Description
The Pharmaceutical Account Manager must increase revenue and profit with the final objective of achieving targets as set. – Meet IOP for sales and margin on a consistent basis – Sell the VWR range of products and services to a variety of customers by maintaining KPI targets and ensuring that 20 effective outgoing calls are made on a daily basis – Develop and manage a set customer base of tier 1 accounts within the Telebusiness team – Develop new business opportunities in new accounts by cross selling and up selling VWR products and services – Strategically price all products for managed accounts. – Liaise with customer service to ensure completion of sales cycle (orders onto system and delivery) – Use SAP effectively to create, view, display, list sales orders and quotes – Ensure the CRM system is kept up to date at all times.
Skills Requirements
– Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) and 3rd level Science qualification is preferable – Proven ability in reaching sales targets, on target KPIs – Experience working in a scientific laboratory is essential – Advanced skills in MS Office, Athena CRM, SAP, Workday – Minimum 1 year sales experience managing large Pharamceutical accounts – Has set and attended meeting with key decision makers in the Pharmaceutical industry – Strong understanding of pricing strategies for laboratory consumables – Experience managing a tender process (industry specific) from start to finish – In depth knowledge of products and vendors within the VWR portfolio – Is able to articulate key drivers for specific industry sectors within territory & provide evidence of robust segment focus.
