Description

The position will report directly to a Senior Partner and will be responsible for the following: Preparation of audited and audit exempt financial statements for companies across a variety of sectors. Preparation of financial statements for sole traders and partnerships. Preparation of Management accounts. Income tax, corporation tax returns etc., and filing on ROS. Company formations and submissions. Assisting in maintaining and developing key client relationships. Look after a personal portfolio of clients. Fitzgerald & Partners is a leading business advisory and accounting firm based in Kinsale but with clients throughout Munster. With 15 years of experience providing professional advisory services to a range of clients in the small to medium business market in Ireland. Fitzgerald & Partners extensive client base is served from its office in Kinsale, Co. Cork.

Skills Requirements

The Candidate: Partly qualified/Recently Qualified, CPA, ACA or ACCA With two years previous experience in a Practice environment. Experience using computerised accounts packages (Sage Accounts Production an advantage) and payroll packages an added advantage. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Be a hard-working steady self-starter who is ambitious, keen to pursue a career in practice and has the ability to work on their own initiative as well as in a team.
