Description
RMS is a dynamic, Enterprise Ireland backed, start-up focused on delivering inspection solutions to the road infrastructure industry. Our first product, RetroTek-M, will be launched soon and we are looking for an Applications (Customer Support) Engineer to be part of the product launch team. You will be key to ensuring that our RetroTek-M customers get the most out of this inspection and measurement system. Initially located in Dublin, you will be responsible for training, assisting installation and guiding first use of the RetroTek-M. You will be the “eyes and ears” of the engineering team while on site, communicating customer observations and implementing solutions. When not on site you will be responsible for supporting our customers throughout the world as their key point of contact to answer queries. We are looking for an engineering graduate with at least 2 years’ experience working in a customer facing role and who is looking for a challenge.
Skills Requirements
Electronic or Computer engineer (at least 2.1). Ability to diagnose PC system problems and implement solutions. Knowledge of interfacing peripherals (cameras, PIC devices and networking). Electro-mechanical experience could be useful. Programming/scripting experience could be useful. Full driving license. Excellent communicator with the ability to: Listen to and understand customer problems.
