Mid West Simon Community are currently recruiting a Fundraising/Marketing Executive. This position will be based in the Head Office, Limerick city with travel throughout the Midwest Region.
Role: To coordinate, drive and deliver all fundraising and marketing activities of the Mid West Simon Community.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and expand Corporate Partnerships and Corporate Social Responsibility, Philanthropic donors and a Major Giving Programme.
Work closely with the General Manager to build fundraising and communications capacity across the organisation.
Recruit new supporters/volunteers and build on existing relationships in order to generate income, develop loyalty and raise awareness.
Represent the Mid West Simon Community at relevant events throughout the Midwest region so as to build existing and new supporters.
Cash handling, banking, ensuring the acknowledging and receipting of income from all channels is carried out in accordance with Mid West Simon policies and procedures
Keep up-to-date with the current issues and developments in the fundraising arena and undertake training as necessary.
Essential:
Third level degree qualification in Marketing or similar discipline
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role along with PR and Event management experience
Proficient in software packages relevant to fundraising.
Full clean driving licence with access to own transport
Desirable:
Experience of Social Media
Experience of preparing Press Releases and engaging with local and national media.
