Operations Manager – Eco Group Services Ltd – Co Kildare

Description

A contract cleaning company requires an Operations Manager with experience in the service industry. The candidate must be a well organised individual with the ability to manage a large team effectively. A background in the contract cleaning industry is preferable. Duties will include: Coordinate the activities of the area supervisors; Contribute to planning and training; Ensure adequate staff allocation; Ensure all cleaning schedules comply with Client requirements, and are up to date at all times; Deliver weekly briefings to Managing Director; Develop a working knowledge of all processes and equipment and ensure all supervisors have their staff fully trained in all relevant areas of work; Manage staff issues including absenteeism, performance, etc. Administer and enforce quality and safety standards; Be pro-active and capable of anticipating potential problems; Ability to take initiative; Conduct regular reviews with Supervisors/Team to review performance and agree plans for improvement.

Skills Requirements

Minimum of 3 years experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required Good organisational skills Must have the ability to lead others Experience in decision-making and working as a team Ability to be flexible and to work under pressure Full clean driving licence
