Description
Supply Chain/Purchasing Administrator required to provide support on a daily basis to the supply chain team. Must be a strong administrator with the ability to meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will work as a vital part of the supply chain team contributing towards the smooth and efficient delivery of products to meet our customers and expectations in terms of cost, quality and availability. You should have: A pleasant, patient and friendly attitude; Excellent customer service skills; Strong detail orientation and strong numeracy skills; Confident with strong communication skills. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Purchase Orders – Supply Chain raise all purchase orders to suppliers based around sales forecast/history; Checking order acknowledgements; Liase with 3PL partners; Purchase Orders: You will be required to raise POs and 3PL invoices; Liaise with suppliers to ensure receipt of POs; Chase up suppliers for deliveries and monitor their performance ratings.
Skills Requirements
Key Requirements: Excellent IT skills are a must for this position, specifically Excel; Demonstrate an analytical aptitude and the ability to work under pressure to deliver what is required on time is vital; Be a strong team player and have the ability to communicate well and work unsupervised if required; Have the ability to prioritise work effectively; Purchasing experience and knowledge of inventory management is desirable.
