Description
The Quality Co-ordinator will work closely with the FSQM consultant in ensuring the consistent and effective implementation of the Food Safety and Quality Management System. The FSQM has been developed in line with the requirements of the current BRC Global Standard for Food Safety. Key Duties: The Quality Co-ordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the FSQM which includes: Record management; documentation control; product & plant testing; customer service support; non-conformance and compliant handling; HACCP team leadership; Audits (internal and external); crisis management; raw material management and supplier approval; calibration of critical measuring and monitoring equipment; pest control; employee training.
Skills Requirements
Skills and Qualifications: Good Organisational skills and attention to detail. Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software. Knowledge of FSQM e.g. BRC preferable. Experience in food industry preferable.
