Description
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful applicant will be primarily responsible for developing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) to assure that all products manufactured by the plant meet customer specifications and achieve superior quality and reliability levels. Other key responsibilities of the position include: Maintaining and continually improving the plant quality management system (QMS). Undertaking corrective and preventive action programmes including investigation and resolution of customer complaints. Representing the Quality Dept. in customer and third party audits. Analysing data to identify improvement opportunities and initiating actions for improvement. Managing site Quality Dept. personnel.
Skills Requirements
Applicants must have a degree in a relevant discipline and have significant quality management experience to include responsibility for ISO 9001 or similar QMS in a manufacturing environment. In addition candidates must have: Ability to build strong relationships with other departments e.g. sales, production. Excellent oral and written communication abilities including report writing and presentation skills.
