Are You Ready for the Challenge?  Support Broker – Specific Purpose Contract (up to 30 hours per month)

Do you want a creative, innovative role supporting individuals with disabilities to live an ordinary life? Could you support the person and their family to plan for and have the good things in life?  Are you a people person? Resourceful at finding solutions?

Dara Residential Services have a standalone Support Brokerage Programme called possibilitiesplus, the first of its kind in Ireland for people with intellectual disabilities. This is an exciting new way of working with people with disabilities, allowing each person control over their own funding and real choices about how they want to be supported.

We are seeking a Support Broker to work for people with disabilities and their families in County Mayo, who have individualised funding, to help each person plan for and live an ordinary life.  If you have at least four years’ experience of living or working with people with a disability; have excellent people skills, facilitation and negotiation skills; have a full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle, we would like to hear from you.
