Job Title: Volunteer Officer
Job Purpose:  To manage the day to day operation, implementation, Communication & development of the Part time volunteer programme, to develop and maintain the link between the soup run volunteers and Outreach team.
Reports to:  Volunteer and Student Placement Manager
Location:  Capel Street

Core Job Requirements

Responsible for the delivery of the Dublin Simon Part Time Volunteer Programme.
To review and develop the part time volunteer programme on an ongoing basis in conjunction with the volunteer manager.
To manage the communication of all volunteer office and organisational information including the organisational strategy and service developments to all part time volunteers.
To develop robust structures to support the functioning of the soup run and the social club services.
To review and maintain a communication plan, updating an engagement calendar per quarter to ensure Senior Management team are present at Part time volunteer Social club/Soup run meetings and Part time volunteer inductions
Some unsocial hrs and week-end work will be required for this role.
