Compass Child and Family Services is a non-for profit organisation working with children, adolescents and their families with a view to strengthen their individual and collective functioning as a family.

Our philosophy of working with young people and their families has a strong underpinning and is guided by principles of the continental European Model of Social Pedagogy.

We are currently recruiting Activity Pedagogues for an out of home care setting based in Co Tipperary. This service is a Young Person’s Residential home designed to care for children with challenging behaviour and complex needs.

The overall role of the Activity Pedagogue is to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment, using a relationship focused model of care and implementing the learning aspects associated with the principles of Social Pedagogy.
