Title: Assistant Care Coordinator
Full Time Assistant Care Cordinator needed for busy Home Care Company based in Dun Laoghaire. Role will involve assisting the existing coordinator with recruitment of Care Staff. It will involve working in a team to organise weekly schedules for Carers and Customers and all Administrative work that relates to that including liasing with customers and care staff to provide the best service possible to our customers and to provide the most efficient and reasonable rosters for our care staff. This role may at time involve working varied hours including evenings and the Assistant Coordinator will also be required to be on-call, this would involve being responsible for answering the phone outside of normal Office Hours and would be done on a rota basis with other Office Staff. The area we cover is South County Dublin and County Wicklow.
1. Accepting allocating and processing referrals for new work
2. Accepting and processing changes and amendments to existing care packages
3. Assigning care workers to customers, whilst working within the standards and requirements of the company
4. Working with other members of the administration team to ensure high quality service provision
5. Talking to the company’s customers about their care
6. Covering and processing all short term changes to care packages
7. Keeping records and paper files up to date with changing information
8. Preparation of reports as required
9. General office duties
10.On call shared with other Office Staff
Experience and/or knowledge of the Care Industry would be an advantage in this job, the ideal candidate should be familiar with South County Dublin and Co. Wicklow and be slightly flexible on working hours as there may be times when they will need to stagger their hours with the Main Coordinator. A logical thinker who is well organised and able to deal with people is required.
