Description
This Local Training Initiative is being setup in conjunction with Cork Education and Training Board to provide a certified training programme based in Bantry, West Cork. The purpose of the programme is to equip participants with the skills, attitudes and knowledge to be able to gain employment in the West Cork food industry. Learning is fostered in a flexible manner, through a variety of activities in response to the identified needs of each participant
Skills Requirements
This is a challenging role and the ideal applicant will have an appropriate professional qualification gained in Food Science or related field, together with a number of years relevant work experience. They will require excellent leadership, facilitation, communication and organizational skills coupled with an ability to develop and implement training modules on an individual basis. Experience in FETAC level four or five certification and accreditation processes is desirable. Some prior experience of working with adults in educational and/or developmental contexts would also be a distinct advantage.
