he Daughters of Charity Education Service are currently recruiting an Assistant  Coordinator  for  the QQI  Level 5 Certificate in Community Health  Services programme. The post is full time and based in North Dublin city.

The person appointed will be responsible for the following duties:

The preparation, delivery and assessment of the following QQI Level 5 modules
Social Studies, Human Growth and Development, Child Development,
Work Experience, Communications.

Key areas of work will include:

Monitoring student attendance
Maintaining student portfolios
Student induction programme
Maintaining updated statistical data
Student educational support
Responsibility for Health, Welfare and safety compliance
Compliance with Solas Training Standards System

Person Specification

Qualification: Applicants will hold a professional qualification in the field of social care, social work , psychology or related field. Applicants will also hold a professional teaching qualification.

Knowledge: The applicant will be familiar with current concepts and best practice in the fields of learning above .The applicant will be familiar with SOLAS Training Standards System

Experience: The applicant will have experience of the vocational area and a  minimum of three years teaching at QQI level 5  and of working in the field of adult education.

Skills: The applicant will possess good planning and organizational skills, effective communication skills and the ability to work on their own initiative .

Reporting to: Programme  Coordinator, Daughters of Charity Education Service.
