Description

The incumbent will assist the Manager in the daily operations and strategic planning within the store and to deputise in the absence of the Store Manager. Key responsibilities: To lead and develop the team within the store to deliver store objectives and sales targets. Recruit, develop, motivate and retain sales assistants within a fast paced environment. Ensure all team members are trained in customer service and product knowledge. Ensure excellent customer service is delivered consistently in store. Effective management of wage costs and other store costs Delivering excellent store standards consistently. Implementation of merchandising guidelines.

Skills Requirements

2/3 years retail management experience. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient computer skills; particularly excel, word and email. Strong product knowledge and commitment to customer service with an ability to pass this onto others. 3rd Level Business Qualification beneficial. Excellent people management and leadership skills. Proven ability to develop people and get the most out of their abilities.
