Bid Writer / Document Writer – Grosvenor Cleaning Services – Dublin 18

Description

The Bid Manager will assemble and then lead a bid team with the relevant service, product and business knowledge required to prepare a winning bid, whilst taking ownership of the companys bid process. Responsibilities will include introduction and implementation of all necessary bid procedures and processes. This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It requires strong people management skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic sales environment. It is imperative that the Bid Manager can get commitment from all levels of the business, including senior management, to meeting the bid requirements. The bid writer will report to the Business Support Unit Manager and will support the bid process either through working on projects within the bid team (with the Business Development Managers) or supporting the commercial team by completing PQQs, RFQs and proposals on their own.

Skills Requirements

Have a min of 3 years bid writing experience. Have a min of 3 years bid writing experience. Have a high (level of) attention to detail with an excellent editing and proofing ability. Have excellent literacy skills, with an extensive vocabulary. Have a 3rd level degree, possibly (ideally in a field related subject) in journalism / English. Be deadline driven with effective (excellent) time management skills. Thrive in a busy environment. Have the ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
