The Role
We are recruiting for the position Care Assistant to provide support to a person in their home environment with their activities of daily living and, when and where appropriate, to re – engage with the wider community. This work will be carried out adhering to the highest standard of care and support in accordance with the ethos of the L’Arche Community and with the relevant national policies, standards and legislation. The role is located in the general area of Cobh, Co Cork.

The successful candidate will:
Be kind, compassionate and have a keen interest in supporting people with an intellectual disability
Possess a relevant Fetac level 5 qualification or higher
Possess a full clean drivers licence
Demonstrate initiative, and have excellent interpersonal skills
Be flexible
