About Home Sharing
St Michaels House, Home Sharing Scheme strives to create a Home Away from Home by offering people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to experience respite in a caring environment. We are recruiting for those living in the greater Dublin area, or if you live less than 1 hour from Dublin.
Can you provide a day or overnight break to an individual with a disability. You do not need a qualification, just a caring nature and a desire to give back to the community.

We provide 24/7 Support during time hosting a guest
Full Training Provided
Tax Free Allowance paid for each visit
Number of options available to suit your lifestyle
We are also looking for experienced people to provide a minimum of 10 breaks per month to a guest. The needs of some people with a disability will require more support therefore you must have significant experience in the area. In recognition of this you will receive a daily & overnight allowance accompanied by a retainer.
€10,500 – €16,500 per annum tax free (depending on arrangements & level of ability)
Six weeks annual leave offered per annum
24/7 Support during time hosting a guest
