About the Organisation
Leixlip Youth Premises Group CLG’s mission is to be a positive focal point for the Community of Leixlip and to strive to meet the needs young people and the wider local community in an all-inclusive way through the provision of space which supports the promotion of participation in, social, intellectual, educational and recreational activities. Our Main goal is to be a positive point of convergence for the Community of Leixlip and to endeavour to address the issues of the local community in a comprehensive manner through the provision of space which bolsters the advancement of investment in social, relaxation, instructive and recreational exercises.
Vision – The Leixlip Youth Premises group’s vision is for a safer, stronger and more cohesive community, with opportunities for self-development and growth being accessible by all members of our community, to work to enhance the quality of life for the residents of Leixlip. The Leixlip Youth & Community Centre’s vision is for a more secure, more grounded and increasingly firm network, with open doors for self-improvement and development being available by all individuals from our locality, to work to upgrade the personal satisfaction for the residents of Leixlip.

The Role

The ideal candidate will relish a new challenge, thrive on working in a small team environment. They will have strong organisational skills, time management, administrative, computer literacy/IT and report writing skills. Flexibility and a strong teamwork ethic are a must. A good understanding or knowledge of the workings of community and voluntary organisations would be an advantage.
