The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following:
Relevant third level qualification minimum QQI 8 (e.g. health; social care; family support, etc.)
Minimum of three years paid experience working as a CEO or at a senior management level in a non-profit organisation.
Possess and demonstrate strong leadership experience and ability to lead with a coaching/mentoring style in order to maintain organisational culture.
Experience
of managing programmes and projects, including financial management and evaluation.
An understanding and passion for working with marginalised and non-marginalised young people, children, families and local communities.
A very strong understanding of financial management including funding mechanisms, financial controls procedures and audit requirements.
A grounded knowledge of relevant policy developments and a capacity to translate them into manageable actions and strategies.
A high competence in change management, project management, programmme development, lobbying, grant administration and networking.
Demonstrate clear understanding of the Charities Governance Code and governance obligations with the Companies Registration Office and Charities Regulator.
Knowledge and experience of working with state funding agencies, such as Tusla, Pobal and the HSE.
Access to own transport – Full clean driving licence.
Excellent ICT skills.
