The Applicant will have:
Successfully completed a (minimum) Level 8 Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Social Care, Youth & Community Work) with 2 years post qualifying experience and some experience of trauma informed care (will be an advantage).
Experience of working with children presenting with social emotional difficulties.
Experience of working with children and parents to provide support matched to presenting needs which support the child & family system.
The ability to demonstrate an understanding of child development, factors and systems which support positive outcomes for children and families.
Experience of gathering relevant information from various sources and in collaboration with families and children, implement a Support Plan matched to their needs.
Experience of facilitating children’s groups and interagency working.
The ability to blend with an existing team dynamic, be friendly, approachable and flexible.
Have a full driver’s licence as driving a mini-bus is a requirement of the role.
