Hours: 39 Hours per week
Qualifications: QQI Level 6 + First Aid

Job Title: Special Needs Assistant
Location: First Steps, Lagore Rd., Dunshaughlin, Co. Meath
Reporting to: The Childcare Manager
Contract: Term-time Sept 17’- June 18’
Hours: 15 Hours per week
Qualifications: QQI Level 5 + First Aid

Position Summary:
Lagore Road Community Childcare CLG, Dunshaughlin are seeking a Special Needs Assistant and a Childcare Leader who are dynamic, creative and engaging individuals who enjoy working with children. As a Childcare Professional you will work with the Childcare Manager to support and enhance the children’s development, social-emotional learning and academics.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates must have an excellent working knowledge and experience of working to the Childcare Regulations essential.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
