Spafield Family Resource Centre is a community based childcare service in Cashel run by the voluntary board of Management of Spafield FRC. We are recruiting an experienced childcare practitioner whose responsibilities will be; day to day responsibility for the children in your care; working co-operatively with parents; working as a part of a team; adhering to policies and procedures; curriculum planning; observing, monitoring and recording the development of the children.

Positons Available:
Childcare Practitioner, 30 hour per week position (€13 per hour)
We will also form a panel of relief childcare workers from interview panel

The ideal candidate should have:
A working knowledge of the two national frameworks, Aistear & Síolta
Minimum of Level 7 qualification in Early Childhood Education & Care
Experience in the area of Additional Needs
Current up to date First Aid, Manual Handling and Children First
Passion about the development of individual child
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good communication skills
Enthusiasm for the position
It would be desirable if candidates had

A minimum of 3 year post qualification experience
Experience of working in a community setting.
