Overview:
No qualifications are required for this position. We will provide you with the opportunity of acquiring knowledge in the area of childcare whilst gaining experience working in a Childcare Setting. QQ1 level 5 & 6 Childcare qualification provided which will enable you to obtain employment in childcare.

Responsibilities:
Work under the guidance of Senior Childcare worker
Work within a specific pod
Observe and monitor children’s play activities
Keep records on individual children, including daily observations & information about activities, meals served and medications administered
Assist children in health & personal habits such as eating, resting and toileting
Participate in story telling sessions
Supervise children during arts and crafts sessions
Organise and participate in recreational activities, such as games
When required, assist in preparing food for children, serve meals and refreshments to children and regulate rest periods
Observe Covid-19 guidelines
Any other duties that may be assigned
