North Wall CDP has the following opportunities available for suitable candidates:

Community Development Worker (CE Scheme) & Community Development Intern (Jobsbridge Internship), Clerical Officer (CE Scheme), Childcare Workers x 3 (CE Scheme)

North Wall Community Development Project is seeking to recruit two suitable candidates for our Community section, a Community Development Worker (CE Scheme) and a Community Development Intern (Jobsbridge Internship). Both will have responsibility for supporting the development and delivery of our development services at community level in North Wall, Dublin 1.

The successful applicants will work with our other services, Education & Training, Communications & Fundraising and the Childcare section, supporting them with the development and activation of relevant local community engagement programmes in the area.

Core responsibilities will include:

Developing close working relationships with relevant local agencies/bodies, stakeholders, influencers and interest groups in the local community
Identifying key areas for action to support the organisation’s mission to empower and develop the local community
Implementing practical programmes which will enhance and develop the local community in line with the organisation’s mission

Clerical Officer / Administration Assistant (CE Scheme)

North Wall CDP is seeking to recruit a suitably experienced person to handle a wide variety of administrative and clerical responsibilities and provide administrative support and assistance to the organisation’s management team.

Successful applicants will have:

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Be computer literate (Microsoft Office packages)

Childcare Workers x 3 (CE Scheme)

We are seeking three Childcare workers for the Little Treasures Community Crèche to provide quality childcare in our setting. The successful applicants will work with the senior Childcare workers to ensure the smooth running of your room and to ensure the welfare of the children at all times. Training will be provided and successful applicants will be subject to Garda vetting.

Key Responsibilities include:

Adhering to high standards required by the organisation and HSE
Ensuring that you respect the rights of the children in your care and their parents
Working as part of a team, fostering good working relationships with your colleagues and working to the plan of the room
Ensuring that the environment is child led and child focused
