BACKGROUND:
Cystic Fibrosis Ireland (CFI) is one of Ireland’s longest established and highest profile patient groups. It was set up by parents in 1963 to improve the treatment and facilities for people with Cystic Fibrosis in Ireland. CFI also co-operates with medical professionals to give maximum assistance to both parents and children/adults with Cystic Fibrosis.
THE ROLE:
The Community Events & Individual Giving Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating Cystic Fibrosis Ireland’s (CFI) fundraising events, seeking to maximise participation and income in order to deliver on agreed fundraising targets. The successful candidate will also develop opportunities related to Individual Giving including contributing to the retention of monthly donors through effective follow-up and looking at opportunities to develop monthly giving by signing up new regular donors.
To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience working in community or events fundraising and a proven track record in meeting fundraising targets. You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of audiences.
