Tenure of Post:
This contract is for a fixed term duration of 12 months. There will be a three-month probationary period. Subject to funding being available, it is anticipated that this contract will be extended on a yearly basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with small teams providing behavioural change programmes. Although providing programmes for men who are abusive is challenging, we believe that given the right support, many of these men can and do change. This position is critically to ensuring that cases are managed in a safe way and that facilitators and partner contact workers are supported to undertake their duties in a professional manner.
Person Specification:
Essential
Graduate degree or equivalent in a related field and a minimum of 2 years recent experience in managing projects in the health, justice, or community development fields
Or
Three years recent experience in managing projects in the health, justice, or community development fields
And
A minimum of 2 years recent experience in client/case management issues within an interagency context
Desirable
Knowledge
An understanding of Violence Against Women and /or Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programmes
