Cork Simon Community: Corporate Partnerships Assistant (12 month fixed term contract)

Cork Simon Community are currently seeking applications for the position of Corporate Partnerships Assistant (12 month fixed term contract, 35 hours per week):
Role Objective: Working as a member of the Cork Simon Fundraising team, the Corporate Partnerships Assistant will support the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator to deliver on the Corporate Fundraising element of the Cork Simon Fundraising Strategy. The successful candidate will receive regular one-to-one support and supervision/mentoring from the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator. The role is based in Cork city.
Some of the key duties of the role include:
Assist the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator by contributing to the ongoing development and implementation of existing corporate activities
Assist in the development and implementation of a range of tailored corporate programmes and campaigns to help maximise opportunities for corporate partnerships
Assist with the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns including development of promotional material, direct mail and recruitment of participants
Present a professional image of Cork Simon Community to Corporate supporters and external agencies
Provide regular relevant reports on activities to the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator
Ensure Corporate donations are processed and acknowledged in a timely and appropriate fashion
Work with and support various voluntary event committees with administration and event management to achieve event targets
Take personal responsibility for reaching specific targets as agreed with the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator
Person specification:
Candidates will have:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Stewardship skills
IT skills
Experience in at least one of the following areas: Fundraising, Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, Business or appropriate transferable experience
The ability to maximise networking opportunities
The ability to multi-task
Access to own transport and a full clean driving licence
