possibilitiesplus are looking for a part-time Direct Support Worker to work on a one-to-one basis, 4 hours a week, (Tuesdays or Thursdays), with a young man with an intellectual disability who we support in the Newbridge area.

An important part of your work will be to discover new possibilities and opportunities that will help him develop new connections and skills that highlight his individual personality, interests and competencies. If you have any interest in golf, music or drama, that would be ideal.

You need to have good networking skills and knowledge of the local area, sound common sense, be creative and patient, a good communicator and organised with a sense of humour.

You should have a full, clean driving licence and good spoken English. Excellent training provided and competitive rate of pay.
