Objectives of the positions:
The objectives of the Facilitator positon is the establishment, development, implementation and delivery of an effective, flexible, rights-based, person-centred support for individuals who use the service. Committed to working as part of a team and as an individual contributor, candidates must demonstrate experiential competencies, use of initiative, flexibility, communication and inter-personal skills, and an appropriate equality focused attitude.
Essential Skill Required;
Relevant Social Care Qualification
Full clean driving licence
Experience working in an adult disability setting
Occupational First Aid
Manual Handling & People Moving
Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults at Risk of Abuse Training
Desirable Skills Required;
Experience of supporting individuals on the Autism spectrum
Working knowledge of New Directions
Knowledge of the Assisted Decision Making (Capacity) Act
The positions are based in New Ross, Co. Wexford. The positions are full time (35 hours per week) and on a temporary 1-year contract with further extension dependent on future funding.
