The Role
Care Visions Foster Care is looking to recruit Qualified Social Workers to work as Form F Assessors. Working on a self-employed basis.

Successful applicants will;
Undertake competency-based Form F Assessments on prospective foster carers.
Will have a recognised qualification in social work, hold a valid CORU registration, and have prior experience of undertaking Form F assessments, ideally in the BAAF format.
Will be subject to a successful Gardaí background check to comply with the National Vetting Bureau (Children and Vulnerable Persons) Act 2012.

Requirements;
Current CORU registration
Recognised professional social work qualification – Dip SW, CSS, CQSW
A creative approach to empowering service users to achieve their goals
Knowledge of child care legislation and other relevant legislation/initiatives pertaining to foster care
Willingness to work on a flexible basis, e.g. evenings and weekends
Ability to produce high-quality family assessments
Confidence and proficiency in presenting to panel
Driving license and own transport
Ability to work in the Ireland without visa restrictions

Desirable;
2 years of post-qualification experience in family placement.
Strong IT skills.
