Fostering Form F Assessors – Foster Care Ireland

The Role
To carry out an initial assessment visit and completion of all parts of the Form F assessment with prospective foster parents. You will work independently, to a high standard and within specified timescales.

Requirements
A Social Work qualification and CORU registration
Understanding of the National Guidelines for Fostering.
Understanding of child care legislation and other relevant legislation/initiatives relevant to foster care in Ireland.
Computer word processing skills.
Ability to use online database and update / manage digital records.
Ability to produce high-quality, detailed & accurate assessments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confidence and proficiency in presenting to local area and agency panels.
The ability to manage your time, prioritise and organise your workload
Your own transport and willing to travel.
Willingness to work on a flexible basis, e.g. evenings and weekends.
Previous experience of completing Form F assessments and professional report writing.
2 years of post-qualification experience in Fostering
