Holidays:
25 days per annum (pro rata)
In addition to 25 days Annual Leave (pro rata), this role will require you to work public holidays and for this reason you will be entitled to an additional 9 days annual leave per annum (pro rata)

Work Schedule: Three week rolling roster which consists of midweek evening/sleepover shifts and 24hr weekend shifts.
Contract: 43 hrs per week (Mon-Sun) Including sleepover, weekend and bank holiday. The successful candidate will be employed by Teach Tearmainn on a 12- month fixed-term contract, renewable subject to funding, including a 6-month probationary period.

The Helpline & Refuge Worker is a key member of the Refuge Team reporting directly to the Refuge Coordinator. The role will provide support to clients of Teach Tearmainn in conjunction with the CaseWorkers, ensuring a high standard of practice delivered in a non-judgemental, trauma informed way using the Empowerment model.
