Key areas of work for both IMH Co-ordinators include:
Working with the YB team in planning and delivery of the Youngballymun programme.
Working with partners to develop and deliver capacity building of staff from HSE, Tusla and other ABC areas through delivery of IMH Masterclass and workshops.
Actively promoting and supporting the engagement of community members to Youngballymun Programmes.
Working directly with parents and caregivers.
Reporting on and documenting work as it is progressed.
Key additional roles of POST 1:
IMH Co-ordinator supporting Early Years
Delivering training & mentoring supports to EY educators.
Delivering evidence based programmes to caregivers of children aged 0-5 years.
Key additional roles of POST 2: IMH Co-ordinator
Delivering high quality, tailored interventions in Infant Mental Health attachment-based approaches to parents and carers, e.g. Newborn Behaviour Observation (NBO), Circle of Security Parenting Programme (COS) , Baby Massage, one-to-one therapeutic home visiting.
Developing strategies within the organisation and community regarding Adverse Childhood experiences and Trauma informed work.
Essential Criteria:
Recognised third level qualification
At least 5 years’ experience or involvement in the field of Infant Mental Health & Early Years.
Experience of working with families with trauma and complex needs.
Experience of delivering evidence based group interventions.
Experience of delivery of training to practitioners.
