Candidates should have the following:
A Fetac level 6 Qualification e.g. Social Care/Training/Education/Teaching etc
Commitment to the development and delivery of a person centred programme
Experience in developing networks and mainstream opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities
An ability to identify and support opportunities for building people’s natural support networks and social roles
An ability to facilitate, instruct and support service-users in a variety of service and community based programmes
Experience in training for adults such as FETAC is desirable
Excellent communication, organisational, interpersonal and teamwork skills
Experience in Personal Care
Experience with Positive Behaviour supports desirable
A full clean driving license
