About the Helpline Department
The Helpline Department provides support and information to women experiencing abuse in intimate relationships on the Women’s Aid National Freephone Helpline, online Instant Messaging Support Service (IMSS), email and text support. The role of the NFH Support Worker is to assist in ensuring the maintenance and fulfilment of the responsibilities of the National Freephone Helpline Service Department as a member of the Helpline Team.
All team members contribute actively to the smooth and successful running of the NFH Department.

About the Role
Title: National Freephone Helpline Support Worker
Reference: NFHSW2023 (please cite in all communications with Women’s Aid).
Reports to: National Freephone Helpline Manager
Contract: One-year fixed term contract
Hours: Full-time – 35 hours per week excluding lunch breaks (based on set roster, five over seven days per week including some evenings and weekends)
Location: Women’s Aid – 5 Wilton Place, Dublin 2 – with remote working and one day office based
Salary: WA Support Worker Scale – HSE Social Care Worker Scale – €33,630.00 – €38,137.00 (Point 1 – 4) point offered commensurate with experience and available budget.
