Limerick Community Services require a support worker to assist with On Call duties for 60/78 hours per fortnight. The role will involve supporting the Person In Charge to deal with any on call issues in a community house. The hours of work will be 3.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m or 10.30am to 10.30pm on a shift pattern.
The Person In Charge will continue to receive the phone calls and will direct the On Call Support worker where to go and how to respond to any issues. The role may require the person to do overnights in a hospital or community houses on occasions if necessary.
Essential
Relevant Fetac Level 5 Qualification or higher
Possess a Full Clean Drivers Licence. Requirement to display an “N” plate is permissible
Demonstrate initiative, good interpersonal and teamwork skills
Excellent report writing and organisational skills
Display a good working knowledge of HIQA regulations and standards
Flexibility required to work within different service area locations.
Desirable
Minimum 12 months experience in a relevant setting
