Cork Centre for Independent Living (Cork CIL) is a community based service who working in partnership with people with disabilities and the Health Services Executive (HSE) provide Personal Assistant Services (PA) to people with a physical/ sensory disability living in the south Lee area of Cork City and county. Everyone who uses the Cork CIL services is unique, many people who use the Cork CIL services have very complex and high support needs. The services provided by Cork CIL aim to respond to those individual needs and preferences.
Vacancies
Vacancies exist for part-time Personal Assistant (PA) positions and we are looking to recruit dynamic and flexible staff with a true interest in supporting independence and making a difference to the lives of people with a disability.
Essential Criteria
a minimum of 200 hours experience of working in a similar role
possess some experience in the area of physical disability
excellent communicator and fluent / near fluent in English
hold or working toward a FETAC Level 5 in a caring principal or equivalent
